Christine R. Preciado, born January 14, 1960, in San Antonio, Texas to Pablo F. Rios and Gloria S. Rios, was called home to be with our Lord On Saturday, July 10, 2021, at the age of 61.

Nina, as she was lovingly known to her family, was a devoted Mother and Grandmother. Nina was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family. As a homemaker, a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. She was strong, capable, tireless, always making sure to take care of everyone and asking nothing in return.

She loved being around her family and getting together for dinners. Nina's favorite thing to do was fishing, and you could find her there any chance she got. She made sure to pass that down to her children and grandchildren.

Nina was a huge Spurs and Dallas Cowboys fan and would often be heard cheering them on. Her most treasured loved of a game was tennis, and would often get early morning phone calls from her Sister in Law reminding her who was playing.

She will reunite with her father Pablo Rios and her brothers Alex Gutierrez, Ruben Rios, and Danny Gutierrez in heaven.

She is survived by her life partner Gene Preciado, daughter Michelle Maldonado and son in law, Paulino G. Maldonado III, daughter Virginia Perez, son John Preciado, grandchildren Victoria Cooke, Makayla Marrufo, Michael Zepeda, Gabrielle Gomez, Gavin Gomez, great grandchildren Wyatt Cooke and Noah Cooke. Mother, Gloria S. Rios, sisters Georgia S. Rios, Yvonne S. Rios, Emma Cronk, brothers Paul Rios and wife Yolanda Rios, Richard Rios and wife Frances Rios, Joey Rios, Rudy Gutierrez and wife Pat Gutierrez, Carlos Gutierrez and wife Rosa Gutierrez. Including numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
