Christopher Jude Esparza, lovingly known as Chris, passed away on June 1, 2025, at the age of 48. Born on February 13, 1977, in Brownsville, Texas, Chris made his home in Edinburg and worked at My Repair Center in Harlingen, where he was known for his dedication, work ethic, and generous spirit.

Recently, Chris discovered a renewed and profound love for Jesus Christ. His faith brought him peace, strength, and a deeper sense of purpose. It transformed the way he lived and loved, and it gave him a new light that touched those around him in powerful ways. He was never shy about sharing his testimony and encouraging others to seek hope and healing through Christ.

Chris loved life's simple joys—playing video games, fishing, working out in his home gym, and making regular trips to South Padre Island. As a child, he especially loved fishing in Laguna Vista, and those early moments of peace on the water stayed with him throughout his life.

He was the kind of person who made everyone feel like family. His huge smile and booming, contagious laugh were impossible to ignore, and his words of motivation had a way of sticking with you. He lifted others up with ease and had a heart that welcomed everyone in.

Chris's presence was a gift, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him. Though his time here was far too short, his legacy of love, joy, and faith lives on.
