It is with great sadness that the family of Christopher (Chris) Frank Saldana announces that he went to be with the Lord on June 2, 2024, at the age of 51.  He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs fan. Chris enjoyed barbecuing for family and friends, watching the Cowboys and Spurs, and playing pool. He loved spending time with his family, and he was very proud of his daughter, Cassandra.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Antonio Saldana Sr, his mother, Marie S. O'Berry, his brother, Antonio Saldana Jr, his dad's twin brother Frank Saldana (Tio Pancho), and other loved ones. He is survived by his daughter, Cassandra Saldana; sisters, Mary H Saldana (Steve Moreno) and Angel Carrum (Charlie Carrum). Nieces and nephews, Lauri Saldana, Amber Wauls, Michael Wauls, Catherine Carrum, Carlos Carrum, and Mariah Moreno.  Great-nieces and nephews, Coraline Cuvillier, Ahmad Chatman, Elias Wauls, Noah Chatman, and Bishop Chatman along with many aunts and uncles as well as numerous cousins and friends all of whom he loved dearly.  He will be greatly missed by his family.

Family and friends will meet for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. at St Brigid Catholic Church, 6907 Kitchener, San Antonio on Thursday, June 27, 2024.
