We are sad to announce the passing of Claudia Marie Closna Martinez. Claudia was born to Janie and
Charlie Closna on December 18, 1989, in San Antonio, TX. She suddenly lost her life at the age of 32 on
December 12, 2022. Janie would like everyone to remember all the amazing qualities her daughter
Claudia brought to this world. Claudia's wild and free-spirited personality made her a fun person to be
around. She was the life of the party. Claudia loved to sing and dance. Claudia loved her babies so much,
she loved her family, and she loved her heritage. She was proud to be a Latina from San Antonio, TX. Her
daughter Laci will always remember how fun her mommy was and all the amazing adventures they
shared. Claudia leaves her family with so many fond memories of fun trips to the beach, fun trips to the
river, fun trips to theme parks, family gatherings, and sleepovers. Although her family was not ready for
her departure, they are put at ease knowing her soul is at peace. Claudia is survived by her mother Janie,
her father Charlie, her daughter Lacie Jane, her infant son RJ, her son Manuel Jr, her common-law
partner Manuel, her sister Darlene, her sister Veronica, and her sister Alyson Stone (Rodney). Claudia
also leaves behind her niece Janel, her nephew Rami, her nephew Eric James and numerous tias, tios
and cousins. She is proceeded in death by her husband Lionel Martinez, her brother Ram Zamora, her
brother Rocky Closna, her grandmother Dolores Gutierrez, her grandfather Jesse Gutierrez.
