Our fierce mother, Connie Tavitas sadly passed away on January 11, 2023 at the age of 51. She was tough, loving and opinionated. I could hear her saying "How rude, why would you put that?",  but follow with a laugh because she would agree. Connie was always herself, whether you liked it or not. Although she was tough, we knew she only wanted the best. She was head strong when we had nothing. Connie continuously expressed love through her support and speaking her mind. My mom was a great mom, she was always there for us. She loved us and all our bad decisions and even laughed at some of the stories we eventually confessed to. We learned how to do life together, now we face living without her. Our heart aches for the time that is now lost, because we always planned for the time we would have. Connie loved the Green Bay Packers, Tejano music, Law & Order and knowing all the chisme. Connie was loved by many and will be missed tremendously. Our family will not be the same without her love and laughter.
