Consuelo Bosques
Alex
January 23, 1931 – May 10, 2024
Consuelo Bosques Alex, born on January 23, 1931, was called home to be with our Lord on Friday, May 10, 2024, at the age of 93. She is reunited in Heaven with her husband, John Alex Jr.; parents, Jesus and Victoria Bosques; siblings, Jesse Bosques and Ruth Tellez; son-in-law, Richard E. Romero. Consuelo is loved and will be greatly missed by her children, Sylvia A. Rodriguez and husband Abel, John B. Alex and wife Michelle, Diane A. Romero, Mary Louise Alex Warren and husband Richard, 11 grandchildren; John-Michael Alex, Abel Rodriguez, Adam Rodriguez, Jason Alex, Nicholas Romero, Emery Alex, Katy Romero, Lacy Alex, Luke Warren, Lance Warren and Laurin Warren, 17 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
Consuelo was a devout Catholic who instilled in her family the importance of God, Church and family values. She was full of life and love. She had a great fashion sense and loved her high heels. As she got older, it pained her when her doctors told her to stop wearing heels. Consuelo enjoyed family gatherings and as soon as the music started she was on the dance floor. She was a fabulous dancer and had a great sense of humor and was always the life of the party. She was a wonderful cook and loved cooking for her family. She enjoyed watching novellas, westerns and also enjoyed going to her grandchildren's sporting events. She was an avid San Antonio Spurs fan and a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. But she would sometimes watch a Philadelphia Eagles game (although no one held that against her!) Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy. Her gentle touch, and her caring ways will remain in her family's hearts forever.
Mom always said "tu vida sigue" (your life goes on). And now as we prepare to lay our beloved Mother and grandmother to rest, our lives will go on; but with a piece of our heart missing.
