Obituary

"Consuelo Hunt was embraced by the arms of God in the early morning of October 31st, 2024. She passed peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by loved ones in Leon Valley, TX.

Loving, selfless, passionate and deeply devoted. Consuelo was born to life on January 9th, 1941 in Villa Corona, Jalisco, MX, raised by her mother Maria del Rosario Ortiz Moncayo alongside her sister, Maria Christina. As a devoted wife, Consuelo gifted Ralph T. Hunt 54 years of loyal companionship in matrimony. Ralph survives her passing with her beloved boys, Benjamin "Benji" R. Hunt and Charles P. "Philly" Hunt. Most inspiring is the way she poured her life and soul into their upbringing. She was pivotal in the development of her three grandchildren, James, Jadita (Jada), and Esthercita (Esther), whom she tenderly and tirelessly raised as her own. She was happiest in the company of her family; she loved crafts, cooking, baking carrot cakes, filling the room with laughter, singing hymns, waltzing to orchestra music in her living room, and daily church services. Most important to Consuelo was her faith in God, committing 52 years of her life to his faithful service.

Consuelo gifts her surviving family, extended family, and church brothers and sisters a legacy of love, devotion, selflessness, care and commitment. She lives through the people she graced with her kindness."
