Corine Moreno Rodriguez, 75, wife of Albert 'Roy' Rodriguez, went to be with the Lord at her residence in San Antonio, Texas, on Saturday January 27, 2024. She was born on February 7, 1948, in San Antonio, Texas, a daughter of the late Josie Moreno and Paul Moreno.
Corine accomplished much in life with the love of her family and her faith in the Lord. She was a beloved member of her community and an Edgewood Alumni. She will be remembered for her ability to make things look so easy as she had incredible creativity and was excellent with crafting or jewelry making. How her talents seemed endless and was talented at sketching and painting. She is especially remembered for being a great wife and mother to her family who was always generous with her time, guidance and endless love. She made sure to provide a home and life where lessons could be learned, and memories made. As she enjoyed the many pleasures of life, her family was always included in on the fun. Traveling, fishing trips, and celebrations with dancing and food are all moments she truly lived for with the presence of those she loved. Corine is an angel watching over those she leaves behind and one day everyone shall be reunited once again.
Corine is preceded in death by her parents Josie Moreno and Paul Moreno.
Family members include her husband of 33 years Albert 'Roy' Rodriguez; children, Richard (Melissa) Rodriguez Jr, Mary Ann Rodriguez and Oscar (Raelynn) Rodriguez; grandchildren, Oscar (Natalia) Rodriguez III, Richard Rodriguez III, Kiara Garcia, Olivia Rodriguez, Michael Rodriguez and Karina Rodriguez; siblings, Andres (Laura) Moreno, Paul (Diane) Moreno, Tony Moreno, Gloria (Harry) Martinez, Celinda Moreno and Diane (Johnny Joe) Tenorio; in addition to numerous extended family members.
The family will receive guests at Castillo Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm for visitation and at 6:00 pm for the rosary service.
A funeral mass will be conducted on Thursday, Feb 8, 2024, at 10:30 am in Holy Family Parish Church. Burial will follow with a graveside service held at San Fernando Cemetery II.
