Cornelio Ernesto Pastran known to all as Kingo passed away peacefully surrounded by his
loving family at the age of 94 on January 29th, 2025. He was born on December 15, 1930, in
San Antonio, Texas to Emmette and Evangelina Pastran. He was a proud Korean War Veteran.
He had 5 brothers and 3 sisters; he met and married the love of his life Beatrice Garcia Pastran,
and married her on June 24th, 1952.
He went to Fox Tech High school and at 17 Years old enlisted in the US ARMY in 1949 as a
Private Soldier from 1950 to 1951 he fought in the front line in the 24 th Infantry Division of the
Korean War where he was wounded in battle by a hand grenade and returned home medically
discharged and earned a Purple heart. He was a very proud Veteran having served and fought

Cornelio was preceded in death by his lovely wife of 57 years Beatrice Pastran and son David
(Suki) Pastran, his parents Emmette and Evangelina Pastran, his brother Emmette Pastran Jr
and sister Minerva Cantu.
He is survived by his Children: Mary Alice Delgado (David) Vangie Rendon (George) Ernest
Pastran (Sharon) Bill Pastran (Susan) Richard Pastran and Belinda Fuentes (Servando)
13 Grandchildren: Thomas, Liza, Neomi, April, Veronica, Pamela, Michael, Janelle, Victoria,
Ricci, Richard II, Erika and William.
33 Great Grandchildren
8 Great-Great Grandchildren
He is also survived by his 4 brothers George, Andres, Alfredo, and Ruben Pastran and his 2
sisters Beatrice Gonzales and Consuelo Mata along with numerous nieces, nephews, family,
neighbors, friends and his pet.

William Pastran, Armando Trujillo, Edward Pastran, and Joseph Gonzalez
