Cruz Amado Hinojoza Sr, sadly left us peacefully on December 25,2022 surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. He lived the fullest to the age of 50 years old. He was born in San Antonio Texas on November 29,1972.

He is preceded in death by his mother (Ovegalia Vela Hinojoza) father (Raul Tejerrina Hinojoza Sr)and brothers (Raul Jr)(Juan Jose). He is remembered by his (7) children Valerie Cruz, Cruz Amado, Amanda Marie, Tina Louise, Julia Ann, Rogelio, Anna Marie Hinojoza, his (9) grandchildren, brothers, sisters, and numerous family members.

Cruz was a beautiful person who spread joy and happiness wherever he went. He was known for truck driving had a passion for listening to music on the road. On road his CB name was "Scary Cat" for being scared of dark nights, while at home he was known by "Gooch". When he was not driving, he was impacting others with his artistic abilities, which he left behind.

Services for Cruz will be held on Tuesday January 10th 2022 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Castillo Funeral Home (520 N. General McMullen, 78228) with a Prayer Service to begin at 6:00pm. Services will conclude Tuesday evening.
