Obituary

Daniel G. Corona passed away on March 17, 2026, leaving behind a life rooted in love, laughter, and deep devotion to his family. Above all, he was proud of the life he built with his beloved wife of 58 years, Ana Maria Corona, winning her heart was his greatest achievement. Their marriage was the center of his world and a love story that stood the test of time and shaped the family around them.

Daniel was born to Consuelo Gonzales and Francisco Corona. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his siblings David Corona and Angela Leal.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ana Maria Corona; his children, Daniel Corona, Anita Morales, Ernesto Corona, Alex Corona, Millie Corona, Ernest Corona, Frank Corona, and Eli Corona; and his siblings, Rosa Salinas, Lydia Corona, Maria Cardenas, and Juan Corona. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will miss him dearly.

To his family, Daniel was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He found joy in being surrounded by the people he loved most. He enjoyed fishing with Ana Maria, sharing BBQs with family, telling jokes, laughing, and lighting up the room with his signature dimples. His presence was warm, steady, and full of love.

Family and friends are invited to gather after the burial at Woodlawn Lake Park, Pavilion 2, located at 1103 Cincinnati Ave, San Antonio, TX 78201, to celebrate Daniel's life and the love he shared with so many.
