Daniel "Fatdogg"
De La Rosa, Jr.
March 16, 1996 – March 26, 2021
"Where there is deep grief, there was great love."
It is with heavy heartache that Daniel "Fatdogg" De La Rosa Jr. has joined the angels amongst the stars in heaven on March 26, 2021. Born March 16, 1996, Daniel was gifted with a smile so bright it could fill a room and a laugh just as contagious. He was a jokester with no filter, and his heart was full of love. Daniel lived his life to make his family proud. Instilled with the values his parents raised him on, Daniel joined the United States Navy straight out of high school. He was determined, hardworking, and respectful of those around him. He was a proud mama's boy and not afraid to admit it, but his father was his idol; his best friend. Daniel was a family man, and he supported his high school sweetheart through any and every goal she set. When their daughter was born, he moved mountains for the small price of seeing her little smile. If she wanted the stars, he would give her the moon. Daniel always made sure to be there for his siblings, whether it was a joke in the group chat or a day out to lunch. He was a proud older brother; a protector. Set to begin school in April 2021, there was not a day that his achievements went unnoticed, his growth and hard work commended.
Though physically gone, Daniel's memory will live strong amongst his parents, Lisa Subirias and Daniel De La Rosa Sr.; his siblings, Jullian, Valerie and Christopher De La Rosa; his fiancé, Gabriella Lopez; their daughter, Sophia Isabella De La Rosa; and their extended family and friends.
The loss of Daniel, better known to close friends and family as "Fatdogg," is one that will be felt deeply for years to come. Like that of a hurricane, when the sun breaks we will find peace in his memories.
Daniel is preceded in death by Roger, Dora and Bear.
