Daniel R. Flores passed away peacefully on June 27, 2021, with family at his side.  Daniel was 74 years old, and was born in San Antonio, TX, on October 5, 1946.  He was preceded in death by his parents; Francisca Pastrano and Juan Flores; and brothers; Gilbert Flores, Jose Flores, and Ricardo Pastrano, and sister; Juana Pastrano.

Daniel graduated from Kennedy High School in 1967 and served in the United States Army.  He was a Specialist 4 ^th Class and served in Vietnam from 1967-1969.  He worked mainly in construction and enjoyed listening to music and visiting with friends and family.  He also enjoyed spending time and visiting with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild.

He was a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather that will be fondly remembered and greatly missed. He is survived by his 6 children: Marisol Smith (D), Daniel Flores (S), Lorenzo Flores (S), and twins; Israel Flores (S), and Isela Flores (D).  Daniel was also a proud grandfather to 16 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
