Daniel G.
Zapata
August 28, 1937 – October 28, 2024
I t is with great sadness to inform everyone that our beloved patriarch, Daniel G. Zapata, was called back home to heaven on Monday, October 28, 2024, at the blessed age of 87. He is now reunited with the love of his life, his beautiful wife Yolanda Zapata. We know in our hearts that when Daniel passed, Yolanda took his hand and said, "I missed you, hun." They are now in peace, together for eternity. Daniel was the definition of a gentleman who loved and took care of his family until his last breath. An amazing father, husband, grandpa, and friend - it was truly an honor to know one of God's best creations. To have known Daniel was to know the true meaning of love. Daniel loved playing bingo, especially when he sat beside his love. He loved fixing his yard and keeping it top notch, and oh boy did he love his Dallas cowboys! But most of all he loved helping others.
It's hard to let you go, but we know God was calling you home. We love and miss you so much. Give grandma hugs and kisses for us please. Now spend the rest of eternity with your beautiful wife in heaven.
Daniel is reunited in Heaven with his loving wife of 37 years Yolanda V. Zapata; parents George and Regina Zapata; daughters Diana (Dina) Zapata and Tina Zapata; brothers George Zapata and Tina Zapata; and great-grandson Evan Rodriguez. Daniel is survived by his daughters Patricia Gutierrez and Cindy De La Cruz(Ernest); sons Daniel G. Zapata Jr. and Michael Zapata; daughters Jeanette, Blanca, and Debbie; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings Dolores, Richard, Gilbert, and Mary; along with numerous extended family and friends.
