David F. Hernandez passed away peacefully on June 10, 2020 surrounded by his wife of 57 years, Rosa Linda Hernandez, and his children.  He was born on March 21, 1944 in San Antonio, Texas.

David was a hardworking man and a wonderful provider to his family.  He learned the concrete construction trade at a very young age and later went on to have his own business.  Family was of most importance for him.  Always caring for those around him, even if it was just a phone call.  His presence will live on with everyone who knew him.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Matias and Josepha Hernandez and his brother, Josue (Josh) Hernandez.

He leaves behind his wife, Rosa Linda Hernandez; daughters, Rosie Hernandez, Debbie Rangel (Leno); Sons, David Hernandez, Jr. (Julie), Moses Hernandez (Valerie), Matias Hernandez (Sandy); 13 Grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; 3 sisters, 5 brothers and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  The family is requesting that due to the current health situation, the Celebration of Life be for immediate family only.  Thank you.
