David Lopez entered into eternal rest on December 22, 2025, at the age of 76. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on November 26, 1949.

David is preceded in passing by his mother, Valentina Valencia; stepfather, Robert "BB" Valencia; and brothers Gustavo and George.

He is survived by his spouse of 47 years, Maria Elena Lopez; children, Trina Ortiz, David Lopez Jr, Daniel Lopez, and Valene Lopez-Vasquez; 11 grandchildren; sister, Diana Johnson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

His memory and legacy will live on through his family.

Heavan has gained a treasured soul.
