David F. Ochoa, loving husband, father, grandfather & brother was called by God on February 23, 2021. David was born on August 10, 1952 in Reynosa, Mexico to David Sr. and Isabel Ochoa. David met his beloved wife Minnie of 34 years at Randys Hall in San Antonio, Texas. David was a truck driver for many years and drove all over the U.S. He then went to be a custodian for North East Independent School District, and worked there for 6 years until he had to retire due to his health conditions. David loved to cook for everyone, especially his famous mashed potatoes and beans. David never hesitated when asked if he can cook one of his famous dishes for an event. He always seemed to cook for an entire army, and made sure there was plenty of food for everyone. He enjoyed taking road trips and going to the beach with his family and always went above and beyond for them.
David is survived by and will be greatly missed by his loving wife Minnie Ochoa, and his stepchildren Sylvia (Efrain) and Bacilio (Selina); grandchildren Priscilla (Anthony), Ashley (David), Alexis (Andrew), Derek, and Benjamin; great-grandchildren Mason, DJ, and Jaxxon; siblings Martha, Saturnino, Benito, Ralph and Gabriela. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren, family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents David Sr. and Isabel Ochoa, brothers Gabriel and Osvsldo and sister Claudia Ochoa, granddaughter Jacqueline Perez.
