Obituary

David Anthony Ortiz (Gods Soldier) was surrounded by family and loved ones, when he was called home to be with the Lord on January 6, 2022. He was 52 years young. David was born February 7, 1969 in San Antonio, Texas. He is preceded by his great nephew Joshua M. Pacheco and stepson Jose Aldana. He is survived by his loving wife Veronica Ramirez, his mother Elida P. Ortiz and father Gilbert V. Ortiz Sr.; his beautiful children Beyonce Ortiz (Hector Haro), Desiree (Joel) Martinez, Amanda (Leslie) Alonzo, Jonathan Aldana. Brother and sisters Gilbert Jr (Amy) Ortiz, Sandra (Mike) Sanchez, Brenda (Patrick) Elizondo, Krystal (Joseph) Muniz. He also leaves behind 4 nephews, 5 nieces, 13 great nephew and nieces. David was a loving and devoted husband, son, father, brother/brother in law, and uncle. David was all about family. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and making memories with his loved ones. David was a hard working man, he did everything he could to support his family. David brought immense joy to all those around him. He was full of laughs and jokes wherever he went, there was never a dull moment with him. His humor will carry on forever. His love spread far especially for the Dallas Cowboys, barbecuing, tailgating, and drag racing. David was one of the most strongest, selfless, supportive, loving, and caring person, who was loved by so many. Heaven has gained our most beloved blessing. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. Our memories of him will live in our hearts forever.
