David Valdez Valdez, born on May 20, 1934, was called home to be with our Lord on Friday, April 10, 2020 at the age of 85.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Plino and Teresa Valdez; siblings, Henry, Rudy, Emma and Richard; mother of his children, Pauline Santillan.

Mr. Valdez is loved and will be greatly missed by his children, Catherine V. Rodriguez, John David Valdez and Judy Ann Hernandez; siblings, Ramiro V. Valdez, Lupe V. Valdez; companion, Sonia Mejia; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren 1 great-great-grandchild, as well as numerous loving relatives and friends.

He loved working on his houses eating his bologna sandwiches and lately going out to eat. Every Tuesday he would get the Popeys Special. He liked watching TV especially politics. He liked collecting coins. He enjoyed taking care of his yard and plants. He had a collection of vases, knick knacks and figurines. His favorite music artist was Pedro Infante songs  "Mil Anos" and "Sigo siendo el Rey" .He enjoyed Pedro Infantes movies and western movies as well. His motto was "I did it my way" by Frank Sinatra. Dad was a unique person. We will miss him terribly.
