Debra A. Vasquez, age 58, passed away peacefully in her husband's arms on the morning of August 1, 2021 in their San Antonio, Texas home. In recent months, Debra endured a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her supportive family. Debra was born on February 9, 1963 in San Antonio, Texas to Balentin and Maria Garza. Debra is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Albert Vasquez; Daughters, Catherine Vasquez (Jay), Jennifer Vasquez (Martin); Son, Albert Vasquez (Christina); Sisters,  Elizabeth G. DeLeon (Felipe), Sylvia Aguilar (Joshua), Monica Rodriguez (John); Brothers, Tony Uribe (Cindy), Juan Garza (Merry), David Garza (Frank); Grandchildren, Ryan, Joe, Angelina, Marcelino and numerous nieces/nephews. Debra certainly had a heart of gold and cherished every moment in life. She was always the life of the party with her fantastic extroverted personality. Debra, a selfless woman, would welcome family, friends, and her children's friends with open arms to her home any day or night. She was known to be the woman who glued the family together. Debra's grandchildren were her pride and joy. Debra loved spending time with her Husband, Children, Grandchildren, and Siblings outside on the patio or on a boat at the coast. Those were some of her happiest moments and will be some of the memories her family will continue to cherish. Debra left this world far too soon but she has left us with an amazing legacy.
