In Loving Memory of Delia G. Jimenez
December 14, 1950 – July 2, 2026
With profound sadness and hearts full of love, we announce the passing of our beloved Delia G. Jimenez, who entered into the presence of the Lord on July 2, 2026, at the age of 75.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary G. Gomez and George B. Gomez; her father, Jesse Torres; her beloved granddaughter, Ashley Lynn Jimenez; her brothers, Roy Gomez and Daniel Gomez; and her sisters, Diana Serafin and Herlinda Rodriguez.
Delia is lovingly survived by her children, Rudy Jimenez Jr. and wife Elena Jimenez, Leslie J. Canales and husband Mike J. Canales. She also leaves behind 11 cherished grandchildren, 23 treasured great-grandchildren, her siblings Christina Paredes, George Gomez Jr., and Rosario Gomez, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
Delia was a woman of unwavering faith whose greatest joy was serving the Lord and loving her family. She had a beautiful spirit that touched everyone she met. Whether she was singing, dancing, tending to her garden, or spending time with those she loved, Delia lived with kindness, grace, and a joyful heart. Her legacy of faith, compassion, and unconditional love will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Delia’s faith has become sight and that she is now resting peacefully in the arms of her Savior.
