Diana Davila Fernandez born August 15, 1967 in San Antonio, Texas went to be with our Lord on July 23, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Samantha Desiree Martinez, husband Edward Fernandez and grandmother Eloisa Gonzales Mermea.

She leaves behind to cherish in her memory: Mother-Anita M Davila and Father- Alfredo Garcia Davila. Her children- James Oscar Martinez, Amanda Nicole Martinez, Brenda Lee Rosas and Oscar Jr Martinez, Edward Fernandez Jr, and Evelyn Nicole Fernandez. Grandchildren-Julissa Galan, LillyRose Galan, Rene "R.J." Galan, James Anthony Martinez, Alexis Delgado, Mila Martinez, Aria Martinez, Layla Rodriguez, Hope Rosas, Jasmine Rosas, and Samantha Rosas; sister, Elizabeth Ann Davila; brothers, Roger AL Davila, Gilbert Lee Davila, Randy Alfred Davila, and Christopher Alan Davila. Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Uncles, Aunts and Cousins who she greatly loved.

She was the eldest of her 5 siblings. Perhaps this is why Diana was very easy to talk to and always had the answers to help find solutions. She was also very tough and would defend her family with unconditional love. This love extended to her children, grandchildren and her dog Rex. Diana really enjoyed lunches and dinners with her family. She also appreciated anything that was given to her because she found beauty in the simplest things. In return, she gave so much joy with her presence. Creating wonderful memories that will live on through stories and pictures that her family will continue to share. Diana was all about family and her greatest accomplishment was her children. Her next and last accomplishment was bringing her family together once again.

Heaven's Gentle Call

God saw her getting tired,
The road was hard to climb,
So He wrapped her in His loving arms
And whispered, "Child, it's time."

No more pain, no more sorrow,
Just peace beyond the skies.
A place where angels sing her name
And love never says goodbye.

She walked through life with open hands,
She gave with heart and soul,
Now Heaven holds her in its light—
Completely healed, completely whole.

Though we may cry and miss her face,
We know she's not alone.
She rests in grace, she walks with God,
She's finally safe at Home.
