Diana G. Rodriguez, 64 years old, passed peacefully on Friday, August 30th in San Antonio, Texas. Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Rosendo and Maria G. Rodriguez and her brother, Ross Rodriguez. She is survived by her children Elizabeth and Eric Rodriguez and siblings Hermangildo G. Moreno, Beatrice (Max) De Los Santos, Mary Esther (Humberto) Vazquez, Angelina (Arturo) Toledo, Ricardo and Ruben Rodriguez.

Diana was a loyal Spurs fan who enjoyed watching games with family members and cheering on her team.  She loved Tejano music and always enjoyed family parties as well as joining sisters at dancing events. Growing up in a large family, every birthday celebration was a party with a piñata and Diana always celebrated excited with everyone regardless of age.

As the youngest female sibling in her family, Diana enjoyed caring for her young nieces and nephews and further continued this affection in her career. Her generosity and love for children led to improving the lives of children and their families for the remaining 25 years, gifts that will continue to multiply throughout future generations.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Sunday, September 15 at Castillo Funeral Home, 520 N. Gen McMullen beginning at 1:00 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 2:00 pm. Services will continue until 5 pm, with a eulogy recited and memories shared from Diana's loved ones. In lieu of flowers, guests are welcome to donate in her memory to any charitable organization supporting children and/or families.
