Diana G. Portales, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother was born in San Antonio, Tx on November 12, 1954 to the dearly departed Lily Ortiz and Frank Gallegos. At the age of 69, Diana was called home by the Lord and passed away peacefully on Saturday,
June 22nd, 2024, surrounded by the care and love of her family.In Diana's early life after graduating with her associates degree in San Antonio she focused her career on helping others in the medical field and social work. In the summer of 2001 she married Ismael Portales Hinostroza, for a loving marriage of 23 years. Together they made beautiful memories filled with dancing, cooking, and always making family their priority. As a faithful Catholic, she made sure her religion and faith were strong till her very last days.Diana is loved by many and will be tremendously missed by all her family members including stepfather Santos Ortiz, supportive siblings Olga Gonzalez, Santos Ortiz Jr., Joe Ortiz, Frank Gallegos Jr., Elias Gallegos, and Bacilio Gallegos; loving children Roxanne (husband Richard) Galvan, Anthony (wife Rebecca) Rodriguez, Richard Munoz, and Nicolas (wife Katherine) Munoz; caring grandchildren Stephanie Suarez, Stephen Rodriguez, Lauren Martinez, Drake Sanchez, Aiden Munoz, Jusiah Munoz, Evanie Chapa, Christian Munoz, Aaliyah Munoz, Sofia Munoz, Santiago Perez, and the dearly departed Miriam Perez; great-grandson Troy Rodriguez; and many thoughtful extended family and friends.
