Diana A.
Salazar
January 19, 1950 – March 17, 2023
Diana A Salazar went to be in Paradise with the Lord at 626pm on March 17, 2023 at Vitas Inpatient Facility. She was born on January 19,1950, in San Antonio, daughter of the late Ruben and Maria Salazar.
If you knew Diana you would see Resilience, she had this toughness and ability to recover from difficulties. You would see Strength, as the Lord was building her endurance through the times. You would see the hand of God, with provision over her life, able to give generously, and even the lender in times of need. You would see faithfulness as she was also very loyal and dedicated to God, family, and church (serving in different ministries). We saw Gods continued work in her heart and her life through the years as she allowed God to perfect her for her transition to her new home in heaven. God even gave her a new commission in her old age as she became an intercessor for her children and children's children. She gave the best momma hugs, encouraged others with her wisdom, experiences, and testimony. She was such a blessing and she will be missed greatly.
Diana is reunited in Heaven with her parents and her brothers Armando Salazar and Ricardo Salazar. She leaves behind her two loving children George Capelo and Regina Salazar Ramirez (Jesse); 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings Rosalinda Maldonado, Joe Salazar (Frankie), Sandra Briones, Rubely Enriquez (Eric) and numerous church family and friends.
The Family will receive guests at Mercy Church, 8311 S. Zarzamora 78224, on Monday, March 27,2023 from 4pm to 730pm for visitation, with a prayer service to begin at 6pm.
Family and friends will meet at Mercy Church on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 9am for visitation and then a Celebration of Life to begin at 10:00am. Interment to follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
