Dolores C. Garcia "Lola" was called home by her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at the age of 86. She was born on June 28, 1934 in San Antonio, Texas, to the late Geronimo and Fidela Castillo. She was the oldest of six children and mother of twelve children.

Along with her parents, Dolores is rejoicing in Heaven with her beloved spouse Manuel B. Garcia; son Carlos Lopez; daughter Delia Garcia; great-grandchildren Gerardo Rodriguez, Roland Hinojosa, Derion Telfair, and Tony Moncada, III; sister Guadalupe Valdez; brothers Jerry and Simon Castillo.

She is survived by her children Rose M. Lopez (Jesse), Juan Subirias Jr., Antonio Lopez Jr. (Maria), Jose A. Lopez, Linda Tijerina, Dolores Modesto, Gilbert Lopez (Blanca), Irma Lopez, Janie Carrillo (Conrad), and Diane Martinez (Sam); 33 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; siblings Julia Zuniga and Joe Castillo.
