Dolores A. Reyes was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 4, 2022 at the young age of 65. Dolores rejoined her heavenly family and gained her wings. She was a compassionate spirit who was strongly devoted to caring for others, particularly her beloved children and grandchildren.

She was born February 19, 1956 in San Antonio, TX to Jose and Angela Arias. She graduated from Fox Tech High School in 1975. She is reunited in heaven with her parents, three brothers, son Lazaro Alvarez, Jr., and granddaughter Lazariah Alvarez. She is loved and will be greatly missed by her husband Jerry Reyes; sons Larry Alvarez (Meredith), Jose Antonio Alvarez (Mallorie), Juan Alvarez; grandchildren Emilio, Serenity, Lazaro, Jonah; siblings Nemecio Gomez, Alex Arias, Mary Lou Arias; as well as extended family members. Heaven has gained our most cherished blessing.

This is not goodbye; it is until we meet again.

Dolores faced her battle with cancer with unrelentless courage and perseverance until the very end. In honor of Dolores' spirit of unwavering bravery, love, and generosity, her family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society .
