Dominic Angel Hernandez went to be with our Lord on April 14, 2022, at the age of 17.

Dominic was born on April 29, 2004, in San Antonio Texas. He was currently a junior enrolled at South San High School. He was a member of the Advocate Boxing Program. He enjoyed passing time playing the Xbox and Lego building. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life being a teenager, hanging out with friends, listening to music, and good games of basketball. He spent time working and bonding with his father, Tomas.

He inspired people around him to be better individuals. His capacity for generosity knew no bounds. He was someone who would help anyone in need with support, encouragement, and guidance. Dominic loved when family and friends got together. Those times exist in our memories and will be cherished forever. We loved his caring ways, he will be deeply missed, and his memory will live on.

There are no words that can express the feelings in our hearts. Thank you for your prayers and support during this difficult time. Your shared memories, comforting condolences and gestures of love are truly appreciated.

He is survived by father, Tomas Hernandez; sister, Olivia Denise Hernandez; brother Jacob David Charles; best friend, Eavan (Hitta) Favila; Aunts Cristina and Monica; Uncle, Tomas III; Denise Hernandez; in addition to numerous beloved cousins and friends.

A visitation will be held at Castillo Funeral Home on Sunday, May 1, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a prayer service to begin at 6:00 pm. A Chapel service will be held at Castillo Funeral Home on Monday, May 2, 2022, at 10:00 am with interment to follow at San Fernando III Cemetery.
