Donell Walker entered unto eternal rest on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at the age of 46.

Donell was born on April 1, 1976, in San Antonio, Texas. A loving son, proud father of three, and devoted husband to his wife who shared an eleven-year adventure together. He was a terrific cook and in the kitchen was where he could do anything. He spent his time working as a chef specifically at steakhouses. His most recent endeavors included Saltgrass Steakhouse and J Alexanders where not only did he make exquisite dishes but had an extended family of coworkers. Donell had the ability to light up a room with his smile and find an unremarkable joy in life's simple pleasures.

Donell had a huge love for sports specifically football. He was a true Philadelphia Eagles fan who loved cheering on his team whenever they played. Donell especially loved watching and supporting his children in their sports endeavors. His capacity for generosity knew no bounds as he would help anyone in need with support, encouragement, and guidance. While precious and valuable times exists now in our memories his life and legacy live forever though all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father, David Paul Johnson; stepfather, Kenneth King; grandparents, James and Theora Walker; aunt, Brenda Walker and stepsister, Rasheika King.

He is survived by his spouse, Jessica Gutierrez; children, Alinah, Zara, and Josiah Walker; mother, Theora Walker King; 3 stepsisters; 2 stepbrothers; 3 adopted brothers; 1 adopted sister; uncles, Lawrence, Percy, and Bruce Walker; in addition to numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Castillo Funeral Home from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm with a Chapel Service beginning at 3:00 pm.
