Dora A.
Davila
June 13, 1952 – August 22, 2022
Dora Alicia Alonso Davila, age 70, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday morning, August 22, 2022, at Mission Trail Baptist Hospital. She was surrounded by her husband, daughters and loved ones.
Dora was born in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico, on June 13, 1952, to Crecencio Alonso and Guadalupe Vallejo. Dora moved to San Antonio, TX, at the age of 16, where she persevered through hard work to build herself a new life in the United States. Dora proceeded to grow a family and raised three daughters alongside her husband of 30 years, Guadalupe Davila. She was a devoted mother to her daughters, and a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dora was committed to her career as a crossing guard, which she did for 12 years. Dora was the embodiment of selflessness, as she cared for her loved ones above herself. She was adored by everyone who knew her. She enjoyed being in the presence of family and friends, having meaningful conversations, reading her bible, going to church, watching novelas and action movies. Dora will forever be remembered for her faith and her devotion to her family. Her presence in the lives of her children and grandchildren will be missed and cherished.
Dora is preceded in death by her parents, Crecencio Alonso and Guadalupe Vallejo; siblings, Adan Villanueva, Eva V Saucedo, Manuel Villanueva, Esteban Villanueva, Leon Villanueva, Guadalupe Villanueva; and nephew, Sergio Ytuarte.
