Surrounded by the love of her family, Dora C Hernandez, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2021.  Born in San Antonio, Texas on October 26, 1931. She was 89 years old.

Dora is preceded in death by her husband Raul M Hernandez Sr., Parents Alfredo and Guadalupe Castillo, brothers Eliseo, Leo and Daniel, Sisters Sara and Janie, Daughter in law Danielle Vargas, Grandson David Vargas Jr. and Step Grandson Zachary Daniel Otten.

Dora is survived by her sister Elsie Sanchez, her five children David(Gloria), Raul Jr(Norma), Elosie(Charles), Luis(Margie), Alfred(Mary). Fourteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Dora loved going to the bingo hall, caring for her plants and going to get her hair done at the beauty salon. She was a very loving daughter, sister, mother, mother in law, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She is loved and will be greatly missed by all.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Castillo Mission Funeral Home from 2:30pm to 8:00pm. A prayer service will be recited at 6:30pm. This will conclude all services.
