Our beloved, Dora P. Sanchez, passed away peacefully on Saturday April 11, 2026 at the age of 93. She was born on April 30, 1932 in San Antonio, Texas. Dora loved to travel and cook for her family. She was a devoted Guadalupana and was known for her servant's heart. She will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her. She is reunited in heaven with her husband of 43 years Adan, parents Elisa and Andres, son Frank and brothers, Homer, Arnold and Andres. Dora is loved and will be missed by her children Arturo (Adela), Homer (Maria), Josie (Dan) and David plus numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends. Visitation will be held at Castillo funeral home on April 22, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 8:30 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. funeral mass at St. Timothy Catholic Church with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations be made to St Timothy Catholic Church.
