Eduardo Ibarra Cortes, de la edad de 74, fue llamado por el Senor el dia Febrero 21, 2021, mientras dormia y paso sus ultimos momentos rodeado del amor de su familia.

Tendremos su vista funebre de 3 a 7:30 de la tarde el 14 de Marzo, 2021 en Castillo Mission Funeral home ubicado en 520 N General McMullen Dr. El culto funebre se llevara acabo el dia siguente, 15 de Marzo, 2021, con el pastor Hno. Adrian Monsivais de La Primera Iglesia Apostolica de la Fe en Cristo Jesus en San Antonio a las 9 de la mañana, siguiendo el servicio sera sepultado en el cementerio San Fernando III.

Eduardo nacio en Allende, Coahuila, Mexico, hijo de Ines Ibarra y Ignacio Cortes el dia Febrero 13, 1947. Se unio en Matrimonio con la Hna. Belia A. Cortes el 8 de Junio de 1968, y estubieron casados por 52 años y tuvieron 3 hijos. El Hno. Cortes sirvio como ministro y creo a sus hijos dentro de la Iglesia con su esposa la Hna. Belia Cortes. El hermano Cortes fue bautizado a la edad de appoximadamente 18 años. Al Hno. Cortez le encantaba pasar tiempo cos sus nietos y nietas contandoles cuentos y historias de su juventud y diciandoles chistes para causarles una sonrisa. Era muy comun encontrarlo paseando con su familia y ensenadoñles de la palabra de Dios.

Eduardo es precedido en la muerte por sus por su esposa Belia Cortes, su hija Sylvia Cortes y 8 de sus hermanos y hermanas.

Le sobreviven su hija Maria I. Cortes, su hijo Eduardo Cortes, 5 nietas, 3 nietos, 2 bisnietas y 2 bisnietos.

La familia Cortes les agradece por sus oraciones y su apoyo en estos momentos dificiles.

Eduardo Ibarra Cortes, aged 74, was called home by our Lord on February 21 ^st ,2021, while sleeping, and spent his last moments surrounded by the love and support of his family.

His viewing will be held from 3 to 7:30PM on March 14 ^th , 2021 at Castillo Mission Funeral Home located at 520 N General McMullen Dr., Eduardo's funeral service will take place the following day March 15 ^th , 2021 at 9 AM, this will be officiated by Pastor Adrian Monsivais from La Primera Iglesia Apostolica de la Fe en Cristo Jesus in San Antonio following the service he will be laid to rest at the San Fernando III Cemetery.

Eduardo was born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, to Ines Ibarra and Ignacio Cortes on February 13, 1947. He was joined in holy matrimony to Belia A. Cortes on June 8 ^th , 1968, they were married for 52 years and had 3 children. Brother Eduardo Cortes served as a member of the church ministry and raised his children in the church with Sister Belia. He was baptized at the approximate age 18 years old. Eduardo loved to spend time with his family and was often found with his grandchildren telling them tells and stories of his youth or saying jokes to see if he could get a smile out of them.

Eduardo is preceded in death by his wife Belia Cortes, his daughter Sylvia Cortes and 8 of his siblings.

He is survived by his daughter Maria I. Cortes, her son Eduardo Cortes, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
