Eduardo H. Escamilla, beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather was called home by the Lord on October 11,2021 at the age of 56. He was born April 28, 1965 to Enrique Hernandez Escamilla and Valentina Hernandez Escamilla. He was preceded in death by his mother Valentina Hernandez Escamilla, his sisters Juana Maria De La Luz Escamilla and Carmen Esthela Escamilla. He is survived by his loving Wife of 37 years Gloria Lorena Escamilla; Father Enrique Hernandez Escamilla; Sons Edward Christopher Escamilla Jr. (Tannith), Mark Anthony Escamilla (Rosemary), Craig James Escamilla (Christina), Richard Vincent Escamilla (Jordan), Brandon Lee Escamilla (Bianca), Daniel Alexander Escamilla (Thalia); and Daughter Allison Jeanell Escamilla (Joseph); 18 Grandchildren; Brothers Enrique H. Escamilla Jr., Antonio H. Escamilla (Gloria. B) and Sisters Maria Isabel Graciela Escamilla Rush (Kenneth) and Martha Elena Escamilla Marple (John). Also left to cherish his memory are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. Eduardo H. Escamilla was an amazing husband, a loving father, and a dedicated grandfather. He was a 1983 Graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and very proud to be a Mighty Rocket. Eduardo was the biggest Miami Dolphin's fan and had a strong passion for football. He dedicated the majority of his life to coaching, managing and running multiple football teams in the organization. He was respected by a multitude of players, athletes, coaches and local football community groups. He was a very impactful man who touched the lives of all who met him. He was loved by many and accrued more children over the years as so many looked up to him as a father figure. He devoted his life to his family and was a great role model to his children who meant the world to him. He did all he could to be everything they needed him to be; be it a father, a friend a listening ear or a life coach. He will be greatly missed and remembered as a loyal friend, trusty advisor, outspoken defender, a fighter, a protector and above all the most stubborn but strongest man we will ever know. We all hope to be as strong as he was #Escamilla Strong.
Visitation will be held Monday October 25, 2021 from 3:30 to 8pm with the Rosary starting at 6pm at Castillo Mission Funeral Home, 520 N Gen McMullen San Antonio TX, 78237. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 10am at St. Mathews Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery III.
