Edward Orlando
Escobar
July 13, 1957 – April 1, 2022
Edward Orlando Escobar went to be with our Lord on April 1, 2022, at the age of 64.
Edward was born on July 13, 1957, in San Antonio Texas. He accomplished so many incredible things in life, but he was especially proud of his family. Edward and his late wife Sylvia shared a 43-year adventure and marriage together. His three children were their greatest accomplishment. Edward was a true example of how to provide for the ones you love. He worked for Builders First Source and later successfully ran his own carpentry business. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in like such as setting out by the water, fishing. Edward enjoyed a drink from time to time, and he really did like to dance even though he was famous for saying he didn't know how. When family and friends got together with to share a meal, he truly was the happiest.
He inspired people around him to be better individuals. His capacity for generosity knew no bounds. Edward was also someone who would help anyone in need with support, encouragement, and guidance. Edward loved and devoted his time to family. Those times exist in our memories and will be cherished forever. We loved his caring ways, and he will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia A. Escobar and his parents, Jose Gerardo Escobar and Maria Tobias Escobar.
He is survived by his children, Natanya Escobar, Edward Escobar, and Denise Ann Escobar; eight grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings Joe G. Escobar III, Leticia E. Calderon, and Marco Antonio Escobar; in addition to extended family and friends.
There are no words that can express the feelings in our hearts. Thank you for your prayers and support during this difficult time. Your shared memories, comforting condolences and gestures of love are truly appreciated.
