Edward Gutierrez passed away peacefully on March 24 ^th , 2022, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. Edward was 71 years young. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on February 25 ^th , 1951 to Rosendo U. Gutierrez and Rose Marie Rodriguez Gutierrez.

Edward graduated from Edgewood High School in 1971 where he met and then married his high school sweetheart, Yolanda Arispe, they were married for 50 years. Together, Edward and Yolanda, had three children; Christina (Manuel) Sarabia, Edward (Christine)Gutierrez, Jr. and Rose Marie Gutierrez  (Roland Rios). He was blessed with 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was a very hard working resourceful man and made sure his family had what they needed at all times.

Edward was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Marie Rodriguez Gutierrez.

Edward is loved and will be missed by his father, Rosendo U. Gutierrez, his step-mom Sylvia C. Gutierrez, six brothers, six sisters, numerous nieces and nephews, numerous grandnieces and grandnephews, extended family and friends.

Edward was a very big fan of the Dallas Cowboys, San Antonio Spurs and WWE Wrestling
