Eleazar G. Hernandez entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at the blessed age of 93. He was born February 4, 1929 in Blewett, TX to Jesus and Julia Hernandez.  He is reunited in heaven with his parents; wife of 60 years Maria L. Hernandez.  He is loved and will be greatly missed by his children Apolonio Fernandez (Martha), Guadalupe Hernandez (Diana), Diane Montalvo (Victor), Armando Hernandez (Rosemary), Santiago Hernandez (Yvonne), Steven Hernandez (Jayne), Mario Hernandez (Erin); 20 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, as well as extended family members. Our father worked in Construction and he was involved in a few San Antonio landmarks, such as the Tower of the Americas, UTSA and North Star Mall.  Additionally, he worked in the construction of the San Felipe Building in Houston Texas.  He left quite a legacy in the construction industry. He was also a US Army Veteran and participated in the Korean War and earned three medals; Korean Service Medal w/1 Bronze Service Star, National Defense Service Medal, and the United Nations Service Medal. Our father's memory will live forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
