                                                                                    For E.M. “COWBOY” GONZALEZ

E.M. “Cowboy” Gonzalez passed away on August 21,2026 at the age of 95 surrounded by his family. E.M. “Cowboy” was born on April 14,1931 to Manuel and Catarina Gonzalez in Houston, Texas. Throughout his life he was avid race car driver at Pan American Speedway, Texas World Speedway, a fisherman in Port Mansfield, Texas and the owner of E.M. Gonzalez Concrete Contractor.

He is survived by his children Lydia (Luis) Vallejo, Angel (Lucy) Gonzalez, Isaias Gonzalez, Viginia Ambriz, Abel (Rosalinda) Gonzalez, Manuel (Teresa) Gonzalez, Maclovia (Paul) Rodriguez, Eduardo Gonzalez, and a sister Olivia Gonzalez. In addition to his immediate family, he also leaves behind 18 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 28 great, great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Maria Villegas, and siblings Pedro Ruiz, Santos Ruiz, Alfredo Ruiz, Martin Ruiz, Angie Ruiz, Nicko Gonzalez and Lupe Gonzalez.
