Elia Gomez Aguilar age 80 went home to be with the Lord on December 3, 2020. She was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.

Elia was preceded into death by her husband, Juan Aguilar; her parents, Mateo and Antonia Gomez; her brothers, Sifredo and Rudy Gomez; and her sisters, Molly Ozuna, Gloria Cerda and Maria Olga Van De Putte; and great-grandchild, Baby Eddie. She is survived by her children, Patricia Reyes (Ray), Rosemary Cervantes (Herman), Diana Aguilar, Graciela Aguilar, Juan Aguilar (Lori) Joseph Aguilar, Lorraine Leija (Robert); Her brother, Leo Gomez; 18 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
