It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend Elia Castillo Cabello entered eternal rest on January 19 ^th , 2022 at the age of 74. Elia was born on September 12 ^th , 1947 in San Antonio, Texas to parents, Vidal and Rosa.

She is preceded in death by her daughter – Denise Cabello Zapata; parents - Vidal Castillo Sr. and Rosa Garcia; and siblings Vidal Castillo Jr. & Isabel Gonzales.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory: Husband of 56 years, Jesus Cabello Sr.; Children Bernice Bureau (Roy) and Jesus Cabello Jr. (Amanda); Grandchildren Drew, Robyn, Jay, RJ, Nick, Adrian, Salvador, Alex, Amber Rose, Paul, Adam and Nathan; As well as numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday January 29 ^th , 2022 from 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at Castillo Mission Funeral Home with a Rosary scheduled for 9:00 a.m. and Internment at First Memorial Cemetery to follow.
