Elia Hernandez

With profound sorrow and immense love, we announce the passing of Elia Zereth Hernandez, a woman whose warmth, light, and unforgettable spirit touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Born in Mexico but of San Antonio, Elia lived a life filled with passion, laughter, creativity, and deep love for her family and friends. She was truly one of a kind — outgoing, spontaneous, brilliant, strong, and undeniably beautiful both inside and out. She had a way of bringing energy into every room she entered and could make anyone around her laugh with her humor and vibrant personality.

She found joy in life’s simple but meaningful moments: listening to music, sharing good food with the people she loved, spending time outdoors, feeling the peace of the beach, and creating memories with family and lifelong friends. Her adventurous spirit and loving heart made every gathering brighter and every moment more special.

Above all else, Elia loved fiercely. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose love will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

She is survived by her oldest son, Armando Alexander Hernandez, her youngest son, Zian Kristopher Hernandez ; her daughter-in-law, Samantha Martinez ; her beloved granddaughter, Amiri Noelle Hernandez ; and her two brothers, Gustavo Isai Hernandez, and Uziel Johnathan Hernandez. Though their hearts are heavy with grief, they carry forward the countless memories, laughter, lessons, and love she gave so freely throughout her life.

Elia will be deeply missed beyond words and remembered always for her radiant spirit, her strength, her kindness, and the love she poured into everyone around her. Her memory will forever remain a guiding light to all who knew and loved her.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” John 3:16
