Elia Hernandez Lopez, age 73, passed away on March 26, 2023.  She married her love Alfonso T. Lopez in 1973, who preceded her in death in 2020. Her dream was to get married and have children. She was more than happy to be the central figure in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Anyone who knew them knew that she was the star in their eyes and that's all that really mattered to her.

Elia is survived by her four children: her son Alfonso T. Lopez Jr. and wife Eeva Marie Lopez, her son Esteban Hernandez Lopez and wife Elizabeth Guajardo Lopez, her daughter Magdalena Melissa Lopez, and her son Federico Julian Lopez and wife Janie Lopez, fifteen grandchildren: Elizabeth Ann Santillan, Alfonso T. Lopez III, Xavier Rene Lopez, Jocelyn Nicole Lopez, Alyssa Nicole Lopez, Kaitlyn Jannelle Lopez, Esteban Hernandez Lopez Jr., Isabel Marie Lopez, Dustin Anthony DeLaVega, Darrian Michelle DeLaVega, Brendan Jacob DeLaVega, Maribel DeHoyos, Federico Julian Lopez Jr., D'Atagnan Joel Lopez, Aramis Alexander Lopez and three great grandchildren: EzaBella Marie DeLaVega, Sylas Santillan, and Mateo Santiago DeHoyos.
