Elida G. Christianson was called home by the Lord on March 15, 2020, at the age of 69. She was born in Nueva Rosita, COA, MX., on May 11, 1950. She was a retired and decorated veteran of the United States Army. She is loved and will be greatly missed by her son Carlos M. Christianson; sisters Idalia Ruiz (Jose), Ofelia Cooper (Charles), Gloria Carrillo (Rosalio), Elsa Mitchell (Alan), as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held at Castillo Mission Funeral Home from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, 2020, with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m.

Graveside Services will be held private at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. Elida will be laid to rest with her husband, John Roger Christianson, also a Retired veteran of United States Army.
