Our beloved aunt and sister, Elida Cruz was called to her heavenly home on August 5, 2024 at the age of 81 years. Elida was born to Antonio and Margarita Cruz on June 13, 1943.  She was an excellent student and graduated with honors from Sidney Lanier High School in 1961.  Elida was an avid animal lover and cared for all her pets with such love and devotion.  Her dog "Alexa" was blessed to have her as her mommy for 1 1/2 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents Antonio Cruz and Margarita Vara, sister, Consuelo Hernandez, her brothers, Gustavo Orosco, Sylvester Orosco, Arnulfo Orosco and Carlos Vara.

She is survived by sisters, Hortensia Gonzales, Ana Wells, brothers, Jesse Orosco Sr., Henry Orosco, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Saturday, August 24, 2024
