Elida R Reyes passed away peacefully on March 15, 2024, at the age of 75 years old, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family . She was born in San Antonio, Texas on April 21, 1948. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leoncio Reyes, sister-in-law Mary ann Reyes and niece Annabelle Villanueva . Elida was a loving sister to Tomas Reyes (Rosa) Criselda Rodriguez(Jesus) Ernesto Reyes Sr.(Estella) Cleotilde Martinez(Jerry) Fernando Reyes Sr., and Nancy Davila(Jesse) , mother to her 3 children Alfonso Reyes, Rogelio Salazar, and Leticia R Rodriguez(Marco). An amazing grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren who she loved and adored very much. She treasured the beautiful memories she created throughout the 75 years she was blessed to have. She was a big fan of Micheal Jackson, loved horror movies, dancing, and had a secret talent of beating everyone at card games. Elida will be missed tremendously but is in the hands of our father God watching over us.

Visitation will take place at Castillo Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm with a Rosary to begin at 6:00pm. Family and friends will depart in procession on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 9:30am for a 10:00am Mass at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery III.
