Elisa Lopez Rodriguez age 65, passed away unexpectedly on January 20, 2021. She was born on February 22, 1955 in San Antonio, TX to Hilario Juarez Lopez and Bernardina Vasquez Lopez. She was a graduate of Edgewood High School and San Antonio College where she majored in medical assistance. She had a gift for helping others flourish and worked as a speech therapist where she aided in the speech development of elementary aged children. "Licha", as she was known to family and friends, enjoyed karaoke, shopping, and gift giving. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her beloved Chihuahua Baby. She was quite talented when it came to creating art and writing poetry. Licha was kind, caring, and sensitive. She had an easy smile and a  generous heart.

She is preceded in death by her parents Hilario Juarez Lopez and Bernardina Vasquez Lopez, her spouse Uvaldo Rodriguez Jr., her siblings Marcos A. Lopez and Graciela Vasquez Lopez.

She is survived by her brother Isidoro H. Lopez, (Lynda Lopez), her sister Belinda Ann Lopez, nephew Isidoro Anthony Lopez, (Natasha Lopez), her niece Bernardina Lopez. Her great nephews Isiah Anthony, Ian Alexander Lopez, and Joseph Michael Collins, her great nieces Clarissa Denise Collins and Tabitha Anneliese Lopez. As well as numerous cousins and friends.

Services will be held at Castillo Mission Funeral Home on February 12, 2021 with prayer service to begin at 5:30 p.m. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all who knew and loved Elisa. May God bless your beautiful soul.
