Elisandro "Alex" G Mireles, beloved husband, father, and grandfather entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at the age of 79.

He was born in Austin, Texas to parents Elisandro and Guadalupe Mireles on July 17, 1944. He was an upholsterer and business owner of many years. His favorite verse in the Bible was Psalm 23: The Lord is my Shepherd. . .

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Jesus Rodriguez, his sister, Lupe Sanchez and brother-in-law, Albert T Sanchez, and most recently his father-in-law, Basilio R Flores (wife Alejandra).

Elisandro is survived by his wife, Janie Mireles, of 53 years who will deeply miss him, our two sons, Elisandro Mireles III (Stephanie) and Michael Mireles (Debra), 10 grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and sister-in-law, Maria Rodriguez (Jesus).

The family would like to thank the late Pastor Robert Campos and Mary Campos, Pastor Eliseo "Al" & Blanca Garza for their continuous prayers, friendship and support, Including My Redeemer Lives Church, family and friends. We praise our Lord Jesus Christ who keeps his promise that he will never leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:8).
