It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, also known as Loy and Nana to many, Elodia G. Astran, who peacefully passed on September 07, 2024 at the age of 93. She was born in Marion, TX.

She will be remembered for her passion for sewing and quilting. She had a green thumb for plants and flowers, which she spent many times replanting and watering.

She is survived by her brother Jesse (Chuy) Garcia and sister, Josie Franco; her five children, Lorenzo Astran Jr., Eva Kirkland, Alonzo Astran, Ines Astran, and Olga Ureste; seven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
