Beloved mother and sister, Elvira Corona, was called home to be with Our Lord on October 16, 2024, at the age of 82.  She was born on August 26, 1942, in San Antonio, Texas to the late Antonio Corona and Diamantina Corona.

Elvira is reunited in Heaven with her parents, Antonio and Diamantina Corona, her brother Guadalupe Corona and sister n law, Elena Corona.

Elvira was a hardworking, and loving mother who dedicated 35 years of service with Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in both the clinical and administration departments. She had a passion for helping and serving others.  She enjoyed spending time while playing her favorite slot machines in Coushatta, listening to country music and watching football on Sunday.

Her memory will live on through her daughter, Norma Martinez  (Mario Cantu) siblings, Antonio Corona, Manuel Corona, Linda Beza, Rene Beza and John Beza, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Elvira will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her love, laughter and warmth will be carried in our hearts, and we will forever cherish the time we shared. While our hearts mourn her loss, we take comfort in knowing we will meet again.
