Elvira V. Galvan, 83, of San Antonio, TX, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2025.
Elvira was born on December 19,1941, in San Antonio, TX to the late Manuel and Guadalupe Velasquez. Elvira was a
kind and generous person who enjoyed the company of her sisters and friends.
Elvira is survived by her sisters, Avelia Garcia and Hortencia Guzman, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She
was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Henry M. Galvan, her sisters Magdalena, Minerva, Celia, and
Amelia, and her brother Francisco.

A memorial service will be held at Castillo Funeral Home on February 18, 2025. The burial will be at Fort Sam on
February 19, 2025.
Elvira's memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
